A fan exchange is a type of event where participants create fanworks to give to one another. According to fanlore, “Exchanges are most frequently oriented towards fanfiction, but may allow or focus on fanart, podfic, vids, meta, or other fanworks. Exchanges can be single-fandom or multifandom, and may also have a theme or scope.”

The Daiya Winter Exchange 2022 is a fan exchange open to both writers and artists. Content must be the creator’s original and finished work that has not been previously published.

There is no theme, however, participants are welcome to specify their preferences when they sign up. Remember though, that this is still subject to the content creator’s decision. Only participants’ dislikes are mandatory to be fulfilled for this exchange.

Both SFW and NSFW works are welcome in this exchange. Only participants that are 18 years or older will be allowed to request OR create NSFW content. Such content MUST be properly tagged by their creators.

Minimum requirements for writers: final work must have minimum 2000 words. No maximum word length, unless specified by the receiver of the gift in their sign-up form.

Minimum requirements for artists: at least A4 size, fully-colored and completed (artworks that are lined only are not allowed unless specifically requested).

All works MUST BE posted via AO3 and properly tagged (especially NSFW/Mature content) and use the collection “Daiya Winter Exchange 2022”.
